Amy Poehler wins Best Virtual Performance Award for Inside Out at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards on April 9, 2016.
Thank you. Thank you, Key and Peele, I can’t wait to see your movie. It looks hilarious. Thank you guys for voting for me for this. Did anyone vote? I don’t know. It was truly a joy to play Joy in Inside Out. Pixar is the most amazing company and the movie gives a really great message, which is basically that young girls and young boys heads are filled with a lot of feelings and emotions and we feel a lot of them all day and it’s okay to be happy and it’s okay to be sad. But I’m really happy right now because of this and, yeah, thank you!
And also just weirdly today is the 9th anniversary of the first time Parks and Recreation aired on TV. I wanna give a shout out to my man, Chris Pratt. So I’m also gonna pretend that I’m winning for that. I’m gonna pretend I’m winning for that too. And also I’m gonna pretend that I won this for best dance moves during the commercial break, so thank you for that too. And yeah.
Okay, this show is really dirty, this show is already really dirty but I’m gonna keep it PG. Because I’m gonna try to keep my stuff in the broadcast. So thank you very much MTV and thank you to everybody who like this movie and I was so happy to be a part of it. I appreciate it.
